The Amwell Society has a membership of well over 300 and holds meetings normally monthly on the last Friday at 8:00pm in the Parish Hall Great Amwell.
The Society has the object of stimulating the members’ interest in local history and other matters through regular speakers and visits and to enhance and preserve the appearance and amenity of Great Amwell.
The Society also has an active Theatre Club and Walking Club for those interested.
