We all have lot’s different people to thank, from family members to key workers, good neighbours to volunteers for their support and love over the last year. As a village we would like to join in with the national #THANKYOUDAY on Sunday 4 July. The plans are:
2021 Railings Exhibition which will be from 14 June to 4 July. Create a piece of art around the theme of ‘thank you’ either in A4 or A3 size and then drop it in the box outside the Vicarage (17 Barclay Close). I will then laminate them and put them up for everyone to see. Everyone is invited to join in, adults and kids alike. Let’s let everyone know how grateful we are for all they have done for us.
Then on Sunday 4 July at 12 noon let’s gather as a village community on the Village Green to spell out THANK YOU with posters, then take a group photo, which we can then send out to all those we want to thank. Covid restrictions permitting, why not bring a picnic and hang out together, hopefully in the sun, for the afternoon.
There will also be a stall where you can write lots of thank you notes, with buckets marked ‘NHS’, ‘Help in the Heath’, ‘Postman’, ‘Supermarket Worker’ etc that you can pop your thank notes in, which will then be delivered to the relevant people all together, with a copy of our group photo; an overwhelming thanks from all of us in Hertford Heath.
We do hope that you can all join in the fun, celebrating each other and all those that have helped us in the last year.
Venue/Location:- Holy Trinity Church and the Village Green
